BRÛLÉEBOSS, GRAND CHAMPION, CHAMPION

Brûlée is the French phrase "Crème de la Crème," meaning "the best of the best." Her name was inspired by one of my all-time favorite desserts, Crème Brûlée, and with her rich creamy yellow coat and irresistibly sweet personality, it couldn't have been more perfect. Brûlée is the kind of dog who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. She has an independent spirit balanced by the gentlest, most affectionate soul. Her biggest joy in life is simply being with her people, sharing her endless love with everyone lucky enough to know her.
Beyond her exceptional temperament, Brûlée is a beautiful representation of the Labrador Retriever. She is elegant in both structure and movement, carrying herself with effortless grace while maintaining the classic breed type we strive to preserve. She possesses the kind, soft expression that instantly melts your heart and reminds you exactly why Labradors are one of the world's most beloved breeds. Brûlée truly embodies everything we cherish at Shadow Run, a dog whose beauty is matched only by her heart. She is, in every sense, the crème de la crème.
From the moment I met Brûlée, I knew she was destined to be something special, but she continues to exceed every expectation I ever had for her. With only limited showing, Brûlée earned her Championship and Best of Opposite Sex (BOSS) in less than eight months, followed by her Grand Championship in under a month. Watching her accomplishments unfold has been nothing short of incredible.
In just her first two shows, Brûlée earned both of the major wins required for her Championship. One of those was an unforgettable 5-point Major at the prestigious Labrador Retriever Specialty in Doswell, Virginia, under a highly respected breeder-judge. Receiving such heartfelt compliments about Brûlée's quality and how deserving she was of her Championship from someone I admire so deeply is a moment I will treasure forever.
While her accomplishments in the show ring make me immensely proud, they are only a small part of who Brûlée truly is. She is, above all else, the sweetest companion I could have ever hoped for. Every night she curls up under the covers beside me, and every day she reminds me why I fell in love with this breed in the first place. She has the gentlest heart, an unwavering devotion to her family, and a way of making every day brighter simply by being herself.
Being Brûlée's breeder is one of my greatest privileges, but being loved by her is an even greater gift. She is my constant reminder to dream big, trust the journey, and believe that sometimes your greatest dreams really do come true.
