Sire: CH Loretta Once A Marine Always One Dam: Maroma's Blood & Passion
Vela(pronounced VEH-lah) is the Spanish word for "sail," a name that could not have been more fitting for this special girl. Not only did she make the journey to us from Mexico, but her name also pays tribute to her sire, carrying on the nautical inspiration that perfectly complements our love of all things nautical. The moment we met Vela picking her up at the airport, I knew she was meant to be part of the Shadow Run family. Some dogs simply feel like they belong from the very beginning, and she was one of them. Vela is everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful, outgoing, and incredibly showy. She moves with effortless style and confidence, carries herself with natural presence, and has the sweetest expression that instantly makes you smile and want to admire her just a little longer.
Vela is especially exciting as she is linebred on MBOSS GCH AM CH MX CH PER CH Maroma Captain´s Cove "Capi", adding a proven pedigree while also bringing valuable diversity to our program. We believe she has an incredibly bright future ahead. We can't wait to spend our own "Yacht Girl Summer" with Vela out on the water and in the ring. She is an exceptionally promising young girl, and we are excited to watch her continue to mature while representing everything we strive for at Shadow Run.
