RESERVING A PUPPY
Prospective Shadow Run puppy buyers are screened very carefully before being approved for a puppy.
Expect there to be a lot of questions and once/if approved to most likely to be put on our waitlist.
If you are put on our waitlist, I can ensure you a Shadow Run puppy is worth your wait.
When it comes to placing our puppies, we place them in order of approved application and deposit received.
Our deposits are $500 and non-refundable
as it is your commitment, and upmost certainty, that you will be providing a forever home for a Shadow Run puppy.
Refunds may only be given if the chosen puppy develops an issue that prohibits placement.

EVALUATING OUR PUPPIES
When our puppies are around six weeks old, we begin assessing and evaluating the litter to decide which puppies will stay in our program as possible show prospects and future hopefuls, and which puppies would make perfect companions for the families on our waitlist.
From six to eight weeks of age we will decide which puppy/puppies will be the future hopeful/s of our program.
At that time, we are able to make our final decisions on which puppy matches with each family on our waitlist.
At Shadow Run we spend an endless amount of time with our puppies, and no one knows them better than us. We spend a lot of time getting to know our families too, and in return, keeping your puppy preferences in mind, your puppy is chosen for you to ensure your puppy is the perfect fit for your lifestyle and that the puppy will thrive and live up to his/her full potential in its forever home.

PUPPY WELLNESS EXAM & CARE
All of our puppies are examined by a board-certified Veterinarian before leaving our care.
Our puppies receive age-appropriate de-worming and vaccinations in our care leading to a full health examination ensuring the puppies are free of any physical defects, heart murmur, parasites and illness.
Puppies always receive a clean bill of health before leaving our care.

VISITING USDue to the many germs and diseases that can be brought in to my home and brought into the environment that can be dangerous to my puppies and the other Labs in my home, I do not offer visitation until pick up for the safety of the puppies in addition to my family. Instead, I will take updated pictures and post photos and videos of your puppy for you to be able to see him/her grow daily to numerous times a week on a private online Facebook litter group.

PICKING UP YOUR PUPPY
Puppies must be picked up at the decided date at 8-9 weeks of age. Unless discussed otherwise.
We do not have a flight nanny service at this time and require you to pick your puppy up in person at our home or at the airport
(either Akron/Canton or Cleveland airport) to fly back home with you.
If a situation would arise, the additional daily cost for the puppy staying in our care will be $20 a day.

SHADES OF YELLOWWhen it comes to our puppies, we can never guarantee a certain shade of yellow when it comes to each breeding; hence how dark or light our yellows will be (since yellow ranges in shades from a light cream to a dark fox red).
We do not place puppies with families based specifically on depth of the fox red shade of yellow, we prioritize matching the puppy to the perfect family based on many more important factors leading to the puppy being able to flourish and live to their full potential in their forever home and the family being happy with their new family member being what they need in a Labrador Retriever family companion in return.

AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION
Our puppies are sold on AKC Limited Registration. As a responsible breeder of Labrador Retrievers and that of quality lines entrusted to us by Breeders from all over the world, we must do our part in protecting decades worth of responsible breeding. With that being said all of our pet/companion home puppies are registered with the AKC but are not meant for breeding.
All of our puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract that must be upheld at the puppies age of 18 to 24 months.
