Sanibel is RetiredSanibel received her name from "Sanibel Island, Florida".
Growing up going on vacations to Sanibel Island with my family, it is the home of vibrant sunsets, bright colorful sunrises/sunsets and beautiful shores filled with seashells. The shells always glisten in the sun and to me always remind me of sparkling diamonds. I see that same sparkle in Sanibel's beautiful eyes. Sanibel is the red-head that started it all for my love of the fox red shade of yellow. From the second I laid eyes on her I knew she was meant to be mine. Sanibel came into my life when I needed her most and we have had a connection like no other since the moment we met. Where ever I am, you will find Sanibel. Sanibel is by far my most protective girl and one to be and stay right by my side, never out of arms length. She has the most incredible temperament, so full of love and loyalty with a face full of expression. Sanibel is adventurous and sure does love all the attention on her! She is the most snuggly of my Labs and makes sure to reserve her spot right next to me every night in bed, right in front of the fan. God, without a doubt, made this dog for me.
